About Atreya
Atreya Manaswi is an Indian-American high-school researcher, author, and speaker. He has conducted extensive honey bee conservation research over the past 4 years in collaboration with the US Department of Agriculture and the University of Florida since the age of 12. Most notably, this work resulted in the development of a novel eco-friendly and low-cost organic alternative to a leading pesticide used for pest management.
Manaswi is an active public speaker and has spoken at numerous international conferences and events with support from the United Nations, World Food Forum, and more. Manaswi is published in peer-reviewed and has also authored a children's picture book titled "The Bee Story" bees, environment, and agriculture to raise awareness of the pollinator crisis in the youth community.
